**à Combine all the ingredients and place in an extra large Ziploc for transporting, OR in two large festive bowls.  Season with BBQ mix as a topping; this is a great starter for any holiday party or chalet rental gathering.  It’s healthy and you will find the colour combination is as lovely as the festive Christmas tree in your chalet.

 Rudolf’s Hoof Prints

Plain Unsalted Soda Crackers (3 pack strips)
Parchment Paper
Cellophane Wrap
Ziplocs x 2
Butter or Margarine or Spray Pam
Craisins (450 grams)
Almonds or Peanuts (450 grams) *Optional* due to allergies
Cinnamon is optional
Baker’s White Chocolate (2 bars)
Baker’s Toffee (2 bars)

Break up your soda crackers by hand and toss into a large bowl.  Add your dried fruit and nuts and mix.  Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg into the mix and mix a bit with a wooden spoon.  On a large baking sheet lay out a sheet of parchment paper and spray lightly with Pam.  Spread and sprinkle even distribution of cracker crumb mix over the parchment paper with even distribution of dried fruit and nuts.  In each Ziploc separate the Baker’s melting bars and leave bag unsealed, gently melt in microwave 30 seconds at a time until white chocolate is soft and squeezable.  Do the same with the Baker’s Toffee.  Remove air and seal the bag.  Cut a hole in one corner of Ziploc and evenly squeeze out white chocolate and then toffee.  Chill outdoors or room temperature until crisp/firm again.  Once chilled, using a knife gently cut into pieces and wrap in cellophane wrap.  Tie with Christmas ribbon.  This makes an excellent hostess gift during the holidays!  And they are delicious.
