We invite you to unwind, relax, reconnect and rejuvenate at our
retreat on Lake Huron. This vacation home is set on a lovely
treed lot on a hill overlooking Lake Huron, offering spectacular
southern and westerly views.
Beach is a walk down the hill
This unique accommodation is the upper part of our house. The
house is split into two separate self contained units. The upper
unit is accessed by an outside stairway leading to the upper deck
and entrance. Large windows and glass garden doors across the
front offer a spectacular view of Lake Huron, the scenic
shoreline and Goderich Harbour. The front deck wraps around to
the side. Side deck has privacy fence.
As an added bonus, the owners live on site and are here to make
sure your vacation goes smoothly assuring that you leave our Port
Albert paradise with many wonderful memories at one of the most
scenic viewing points in Port Albert.
Beautifully landscaped grounds including a fish pond water
feature.
The cottage features dark wood floors throughout, spacious rooms
with an open kitchen/dining/living room. Beautifully appointed
and furnished with appliances, beds etc. Whether it's a family
vacation on the lake or a cozy retreat in the spring, fall or
winter - this property offers outstanding accommodation. The
cottage is winterized and available year round.
Our Beach is sandy with pebbles washing up near the shoreline.
Lake bed can be somewhat stony a little ways off shoreline so
pack your swim socks. The sunsets are some of the best in the
world and the swimming is great.
Two bedrooms. Double bed in one. The second bedroom is larger
with two single beds. The living area has a futon which folds out
for an extra bed. Bathroom is three piece, shower, toilet and
sink.
Pillows and Blankets are provided. Bed linens and towels are not
included, so please be prepared to bring your own. $50 extra for
us to provide.
Water & Swimming
A short walk down the hill takes you to a private beach. Our
Beach is sandy with pebbles washing up near the shoreline. Lake
bed can be somewhat stony a little ways off shoreline so pack
your swim socks. The sunsets are some of the best in the world
and the swimming is great.
Port Albert public beach is a 6 mins drive or a 15 min walk on
the beach. Goderich has a large public beach with playground
equipment etc. Boat ramps are located in Goderich.
