The living room is very nicely furnished with a sofa, three
comfortable easy chairs, a wood burning stove and a television
with VCR / DVD and satellite dish for your viewing and listening
pleasure.
The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave,
toaster and coffee maker.In addition there is a separate dining
area with a good size table to seat eight in comfort.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and each of the other two
cottage bedrooms have a set of bunks with a double bottom and a
single top. In addition there is a bunkie which has two sets of
single bunks to sleep a possible four more. The bunkie also has a
television with VCR and DVD for video viewing.
This property is a pie-shaped, level lot and is one of four
cottages on a bay. It has a large dock on the waterfront with a
sandy beach. The cottage has a large deck on the lakeside with a
table, chairs and an umbrella, as well as a propane barbeque for
Chef de Cottage Country. There is also a shaded lounge area in
front of the cottage with Haliburton chairs. The nearest town is
Kinmount where you can purchase your essentials or have your
pizza fix but if you are looking for more substantial shopping,
the Village of Minden is an easy 20 minute drive from the cottage
where there are large food stores, many shops, pharmacies, health
care at the hospital, restaurants, service stations, a Timmy's,
LCBO, beer store and much more.
Davis Lake is situated at the southern end of the Haliburton
Highlands which makes for easy access from Toronto and the GTA.
