Harris Lake Hideaway is lovely little Cape Cod Style bungalow in
the heart of the Muskokas, only 2 hours north, and all highway
driving. It can sleep 12 comfortably: 8 adults and 4 kids, and
is dog friendly. (Sorry we are all allergic to cats!) It has a
huge campfire, large enough for all of you, 100 feet of
shoreline, and the best sunsets in the north.
There are 3 bedrooms (one is small and meant for just kids) and
two extra double beds in the main living room, and a cot stored
in one of the bedrooms. The Master has a king and the second
bedroom has a double and a bunk above (cot underneath). There
are 4 tv's and dvd players. There's an xbox, laundry on site,
newer appliances and decor and lovely gardens all around. Cell
range is great, but I don’t supply wifi or satellite TV, just
DVD players with the TV's. You might connect with a local
router. There's a wrap around deck with bbq and patio ware.
There’s always a gentle breeze coming off the shoreline and
dock, so the bugs are not too bad. The winter offers a lot of
local area attractions, including snowmobile trails, ski clubs,
Hockey Hall of Fame, live musicals and concerts in town, plus you
have some of the best ice fishing in the Muskokas!
There are summer and off season rates. Weekends are available IN
LIMITED SUPPLY. I do not rent weekends in July and August. And
holiday weekends are extra cost. At present the rate for a
regular weekend starts at $635.00 plus hst and damage deposit.
This is a low season rate. The rates change in the summer. Book
early to avoid disappointment. I get bookings as early as 8
months in advance for July and August weeks.
PARTIERS AND LOUD PARTY PEOPLE ARE NOT WELCOME. FAMILIES ARE
WELCOME.
