Booker’s Clear Lake Cottages caters to families that look
forward to escaping the hectic pace of their busy lives and who
enjoy the simple pleasures that the Northern experience has to
offer.
Just 15 minutes north of Huntsville, Clear Lake Cottages is an
ideal family vacation resort for all four seasons. 400 feet of
beautiful sand beach and shady beachfront deck are a source of
pride and joy. There is plenty of room on our 11-acre property
for relaxation and games. We feature two and three bedroom tidy,
well-kept affordable cottages. All cottages are furnished with a
full size fridge and stove, dishes and utensils, coffeemaker,
toaster and microwave. Please bring bedding, towels and
toiletries. Cottages are non-smoking and pet-free.
SUMMER:
Guests will enjoy swimming at our safe sandy beach. The water at
our beach is clean, fresh and weed free. There is plenty of room
to build sand castles and to sunbathe. Children will be delighted
to play on our water trampoline and to swim out to our raft.
Each cottage is supplied with Muskoka chairs, a picnic table and
a campfire pit.
Summer activities available at our resort include
badminton/volleyball court, horseshoe pits, fishing, boating and
campfires. For families wishing program of activities for their
children, day camps are available. Guests enjoy complimentary use
of our kayaks, rowboats, canoes and paddleboat.
WINTER:
Booker’s Clear Lake Cottages is located at the junction of
Trail 95 ; T.O.P.S. trail D. We are active members of the
Highland Rovers Snowmobile Club. Our Club provides excellent
groomed trails, with hundreds of miles to ride on. We are always
aware of the latest trail conditions, and will give an accurate
and honest trail report.
Because we value your business, we make our customers aware of
trail closures and/or poor trail conditions. To confirm a
reservation, we require a credit card security deposit, which
will guarantee your reservation.
For your convenience we sell seasonal, 7 day and 3 day OFSC trail
permits.
Directions:
To reach our resort from Toronto, follow Hwy 400 North to Barrie.
Once you are past Barrie, Hwy 400 merges with Hwy 11. Follow Hwy
11 North to Huntsville. About 10kms past Huntsville, take exit
235 at 592 Novar Road. Go straight through at the stop sign.
Drive 5kms on Hwy 592 until you see our red and white sign on the
right hand side.
